Mantra for Monday no. 101

One of the things I really need to work on is being comfortable with ‘being 80%’.

I am a work in progress. We are all a constant work on progress… and it is this progress we should strive for, not perfection. This has become all the more clear and crucial to me over the last few weeks as I have begun to hone and explore my business endeavours.

My ebook

My seminar

My coaching practice

Of course, I will not be perfect… how could I expect to be. I have never written an ebook before. I have never presented a seminar before. I have never formally coached before. Yet my mind holds me back from putting myself out there to the world… telling me I must wait until ‘I really know what I am doing’ because I donlt want to fail, to make a mistake, to let myself fall short.

‘Knowledge’ comes from trying, experiencing, listening, tweaking, refining…and then trying all over again…

I have taken to looking at things from a different angle in the last few days… the more I hold myself back the longer I prevent others from benefitting from the skills and experiences I have to offer.

I want to help others. I want to throw out there what I do already know.  I am already good enough.
